How we can help
Our specialist speech and language therapy service is designed to support children within nursery and school settings, working collaboratively with teachers, teaching assistants and families to achieve the best possible outcomes.
We provide assessment, intervention and practical strategies for children experiencing:
- Speech sound difficulties,
- Delayed speech and language development
- Attention, listening and communication skills
- Understanding and using language (including vocabulary, sentence structure and conversation skills)
- Social communication and interaction
- Communication needs associated with hearing impairment or medical conditions
- Speech difficulties associated with dyspraxia, dysarthria, articulation difficulties and orofacial differences
- Speech and language needs as part of a broader learning profile
- Fluency (stammering) and other communication difficulties

Support is tailored to the needs of each school and may include:
- Individual and small group therapy
- Classroom-based intervention
- Joint teaching and modelling alongside school staff
- Teacher training and professional development
- Speech and language assessments
- Advice and strategies for parents and carers
- Written reports and recommendations
- Resources to support learning beyond the therapy session
As our focus is on working within educational settings, we are not currently accepting private referrals for individual therapy.
